The standard path for any qualifying citizen 21+.

Veterans + LEO
Discounted for military veterans and retired law enforcement.

Lifetime
For members who want to stop writing annual checks.
- Requires 1 yr in good standing first
- Max 5 new lifetime slots per year
- Must still attend 3 workdays / yr

Buy-In + First Year Dues
$200 buy-in (or $50 for vets / retired LEO), plus prorated annual dues. Non-refundable. You’ll receive the dates for upcoming Orientation and Safety briefings.
Safety Briefing / orientation
Mandatory for every new member. Covers range rules, emergency procedures, and the CCGC pledge. Plan on an hour. Upon completion you will receive your gate key, access card and a brightly colored probationary identification card to wear on the property.
Probationary Year
Twelve months on the range, in meetings, and on workdays. The board watches how you carry yourself — because after this, you’re representing the club.
Permanent Membership
Board of Directors votes at the end of your probationary year. If accepted, you’re a full member of CCGC. If not, the Secretary notifies you in writing.

Questions we hear often from prospective members.
Is there a waiting list?
When we hit 250 standing members, yes. A new seat opens only when one is vacated. Lifetime slots open on a separate cadence — five per year until 50 are filled.
What if I miss a workday?
Three workdays a year are required — the workday year runs January through December. Fines scale with what you missed: no workdays done — $105, one done — $60, two done — $25, all three — $0. New members are prorated by sign-up quarter: Jan–Mar owe 3, Apr–Jun 2, Jul–Sep 1, Oct–Dec 0.
Can I earn workday credit outside the scheduled dates?
Yes. The Secretary keeps a list of stand-alone tasks, each worth one to one-and-a-half hours of work. Ask for options — you’ll get three to pick from — then send before-and-after photos when the task is done. That’s your receipt for a completed workday.
Can my spouse shoot on my card?
No. If your spouse wants range access, they become a member too. Spousal buy-in is waived; annual dues still apply per person. Membership cards can never be loaned, sold, or transferred.
What happens if I don’t pay dues on time?
Dues are due by the first Saturday in April. A $25 late/reinstatement fee hits after that. No payment by May 1 means suspended access. No payment by end of June means dropped from the roll — you’d re-apply from scratch.
Do I have to live in Coffee County?
No — membership is open to any qualifying U.S. citizen 21+. That said, the range is in Coffee County, so practicality tends to draw local members.
