ARA Shoots
We are having an ARA Club Shoots . You can enter either the Factory, Unlimited class, or both. So bring 2 guns or use your factory gun for both classes if your feeling lucky. The entry fee is $20 for one class and an additional $10 if you enter both classes. Additional rules and info can be found on the American Rimfire Association website. Come on out and have a load of fun.
Gate opens at 7:30am and shooting starts at 9am for the Saturday events and Gate opens at 5:30pm shooting starts at 6:00pm for the evening shoots. Juniors/Kids under 17 are free. Contact Kit Carson or Robert Goodman for more information.

The Defensive Pistol course of fire:
The Defensive Pistol Shoot scheduled for October 21st will have 8 stages. The 7th and 8th will be a different twist than usually seen. Stages 1-7 will be double tap shots and the 8th, an additional 6 shots for a total of 20 shots. Magazine change out will be required depending on your magazine size. $15 per shooter. Gate open at 8:30, shooting at 9:00.

There will be dates posted as needed to qualify so that you can use the 300 yard range when open.
--The Qualification Course for the 300 yard Range will consist of:
1. Range safety.
a. General range safety.
b. No rapid fire shooting.
2. Where to shoot from.
a. Bench rests.
b. Prone shooting allowed next to the concrete pad.
3. Allowable targets.
a. Club provided target stands.
b. No shooting at ground targets.
4. Distances for those targets.
a. Targets at 200 yard and 300 yards.
b. Use the 150 yard range for shorter distances.
5. Shooting
a. 100 yard target on the 150 yard range
b. 200 yard target on the 300 yard range
c. 300 yard target on the 300 yard range
Those attending need to make sure their rifles are at least zeroed at 100 yards.
Instructors will be on site to assist shooters in becoming qualified.
The CCGC is a nonprofit.Member Owned Shooting Club. The annual dues are $125 payable each April. There is also a one time buy in fee of $200.
